[ The door squeaks open as Chane pokes her head out, having heard thumping from up on the roof. It wasn't quite out of worry - no, she'd known him for long enough now that she found that she didn't have to worry over him much, although she couldn't help it if the right situation came up - but more out of wondering what in the world he was doing. She's not that surprised to find him jumping around. You're always so energetic... Chane, too, has changed little, although perhaps she looks more tired and a little sadder if one paid close attention. It has been ten long years away from her father, and for all she knows, he could have been trapped in prison all this time. For Claire, however, she would smile more freely. It was him, after all, who had opened up life for her. And without her father around, she found that her love for him grew twice as fast to try and fill what space it could
