The end of the world as we know it...

And I feel fine.

That's what I woke up to this morning- at least, promises of the same. There was an almighty dust storm in Sydney and an extended area in New South Wales and Southern Queensland; hail stones the size of golf balls were falling elsewhere, and here in Victoria we had earth tremors. Brimstone and treacle were moments away ( Read more... )

Hmmm, I can't compete- I know my place.
And just for the record, at 3am when he wakes up- not so gorgeous!

The rug Iggy is snuggled up in is a gift for his owner from an acquaintance. I offer this explanation since you are a renowned knitter, and might have been discombobulated by the colour scheme, puzzling as you are over Merlin-related shades. :)

I've had a crush on Tex Perkins for more than half of my life. I can imagine Tex doing Johnny Cash stuff would be fantastic!

I woke up this morning and the red glow into the house was really creepy. The wind and the dust were pretty horrendous.

Cute kitty :) I had a white cat who was deaf and she was just the most lovely cat. I still miss her.

Tex is eminently crushable. He was fabulous in this show- he seemed quite relaxed on stage, and his presence and his voice made for a memorable time. Sunday morning coming down, and 25 Minutes to Go- awesome.

You'll probably be finding dust for ages now. It's that red centre dust: it sticks and sticks.

Iggy has selective deafness. :)

Cute kitty!

I was at the movies and thought about earthquakes without knowing one had happened at the time it happened...really weird and strangely intuitive of me...like a dog! I have no proof of my strange intuition as I was by myself but...

Iggy would bow if he could. :)

You might have just thought the SFX were especially good in the film you were watching?! Strange days indeed.

No this was a definite 'earthquake' feeling without shaking. Like 'earthquake' popped into my head for no reason.

It was all very strange I agree.
