What a cute little dog. I'm so glad she's safe. And I crack up at the idea of a whole country shutting down for a horse race, and yet I love the idea of it, too.

And you deserve to be spoilt!! I'm glad the little doggie was found safe and well (what a gorgeous face!!)
A neighbour has just given me the autobiog of Parky - I'm looking forward to reading it. Also looking forward to the Clive film - not out over here yet but it's had good reviews on the net.

And you deserve to be spoilt!! I'm not so sure about that, but thank ye! And yes, Lou's return home was a great relief to all.
I don't know if Parky is doing these one-man shows over there, but do go see him if he comes your way. And I was lucky enough to see a preview of the Clive film; it comes out here in the next couple of weeks I think.
Perhaps I should have said MORE constructive? :)
Oh, I do know about Lowry and his matchstick men, thank you again! My cousins told me about him on my first visit to Lancashire, and we just had a book of his work come into the bookshoppe. TINSTAC!
