Okay, so I'm doing a survey for my Sex in Society class. My topic: porn and the access of it. I was wondering if I could have some of you take the survey, so I have a larger base to draw my conclusions from. PLEASE?!?!

okay, I've got a quick question that may or may not effect your results, but how are you defining porn here? Pictures or erotic literature (I kind of consider both porn, but one is a lot easier to look at in public without getting noticed than the other). This might effect your sampling data.

I consider both porn, actually. If I had the ability to do a move in depth survey I would have separated the two, since this survey can be vague I didn't see the point. Besides, it makes it easier to analyze the data and I'm all for being lazy this semester. *grin*

By films I meant anything in video format, whether it's two minutes or two hours.

Also, I'm defining viewing porn a bit broadly. I own a yaoi dvd where the penis is not drawn.... but you can see it outlined with ejaculate a lot. It amuses me.

(er, I have seen real porn, but that amuses me too. *shrugs* Viewing is eh.

Reading it is much better - especially when there is at least a modicum of plot, or some type of believability.

I kind of consider pornography anything watched/read/looked at that causes sexual stimulation, whether it's physical, mental, or emotional. So, yeah, NC-17 fic could work for that if that's what it does for you.

I prefer reading, too. I tend to just end up laughing my butt off when I watch it. XD The faces! The sounds! too funny!

I meant for the magazine part actually. I don't know whether to classify that with novels or magazines..

(oh man. I just start laughing and don't stop. And than I make fun of the brief dialogues)
