Straightening up my apartment is becoming depressing. There's way too much to do. It feels like it will never get finished.

Object oriented cleaning. It's the only way to make progress. That and throwing away and/or storing things that you don't need.

Your biggest problem is the need for swap space. First task: create swap space somewhere - one table, one chair, or one section of the floor. Even if you have to put a sheet down and use the area on top of it as swap space - do it.

I've actually started throwing some stuff out. But it's slow going. I keep having the need to look at everything before throwing it out to make sure it's not something I need to keep.
