I generally liked this book, but I read it as part of my research for a project on one of Marie-Antoinette's portraitists, Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun, and I found some inaccuracies in the book regarding this person and her circle. So it made me suspect the other facts, though I think the main ones are correct ( ... )
