Inspiration

I've started a new feature on my blog that I've titled "Inspiration" in which I'll post quotes, pictures, or a combination of both that I've come across over the internet that has touched me. I may comment on what it means to me, or how it reflects something I've personally gone through, but I might just let it be and let it speak for itself.

I LOVE that you said it's like giving yourself a hug-- that's *exactly* what it feels like to me too! It's a reminder to be kind to ourselves, we are often the hardest on ourselves-- it is because of our internal dialogue that we are sometimes held back in life. It's time to be our best friend. =)

I was so mean to and demanding of myself when I was younger. I've learned to be much kinder and forgiving.

It's so true, we are the most unkindest to ourselves, the one we should be soothing with self-hugs, kisses, and soft words. =)
