That, in a nutshell, is what GOOD medical care - whether physical or psychological - is all about; getting the patient to be well enough not to need the doctor any more.

I've alway contended that bravery wasn't the absence of fear; it's the ability to acknowledge the fear and move past it. None of us conquer all our faults, but we can learn to keep trying to.
