How to insert icon in journal?

I have a rather stupid question. How do you actually post an icon on the journal so that it changes and it more than one picture, I know I sound stupid, but I want to learn. Also how can I best give credit for an icon I have borrowed. I thought of using some of the fantastic icons that were created here, but I am afraid to take them because of ( Read more... )

In answer to the question in your post, you need to assign keywords to every icon you have uploaded (to do this, go to 'Profile', then 'Edit userpics'). Then, when you post or comment, look for the tab called 'use userpic' (or something like this). It will allow you to pick an icon according to the keywords you gave it.

It's best to credit the icon-maker in the comments to and icon. Again, go to 'Profile', then to 'Edit userpics'.
