Mussina returns Thursday for the Yankees

BRONX, New York (Ticker) - The New York Yankees are in sole possession of first place in the American League East for the first time since July 18. Now they hope to get a boost from righthander Mike Mussina.
Sidelined for more than three weeks with inflammation in his right elbow, Mussina returns on Thursday when the Yankees seek to complete a four-game sweep against the Baltimore Orioles.
Mussina last pitched on August 29 at Seattle, lasting just three-plus innings and yielding four runs and six hits before leaving with soreness in the elbow.

In Mussina's absence, the Yankees went 14-7 and hurdled the Boston Red Sox in the AL East. A 2-1 win by New York (88-63) over Baltimore coupled with a loss by the Red Sox (88-64) at Tampa Bay on Wednesday moved the Yankees into sole possession of first place in the division.
Mussina is 12-8 with a 4.34 ERA in 28 starts this season.
The 36-year-old Mussina is 76-46 since signing with the Yankees in 2001 after playing 10 seasons with Baltimore. He has a lifetime record of 223-127.
Today kinda sucked. I was really hoping to get a good part in the show, but I didn't. I thought I did really well in my auditions, but I guess I didn't. I am blind girl #2. Well, at least Maggie got the part she wanted, and Hillary is the lead, so I think she'll do good.
I heard the new Westlife single!!!! OK, it is a cover of "You Raise Me Up" and no one can top Josh Groban, but it's pretty darn good!! Oh, I might be going to the relient k show on the 30th!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!! *does happy dance*
