Ooh, I like this plan! I've got stuff going on this weekend, but maybe next? Friday is Star Wars Day (May 4). :) Would that weekend work for you? Maybe Friday night through Saturday?
That could work. I have a coworker's Quatro de Mayo cocktail hour thingy to go to right after work on Friday, but you probably wouldn't make it down til 6:30 or 7 anyway, right? And, of course, Whitney is always welcome to come too, if she wants to join in the shenanigans. If you're feeling brave/lucky, we could even meet up downtown Friday evening and try one of the Indian places here, before heading back to the AoL.
I CAN'T HELP IT, EVEN IF THEY DO HAVE ONE OF THE CUTEST MARRIED COUPLES IN THE LEAGUE.
(true story: I have been rambling so much about hockey that my dad watched that game on Sunday, and called me at the end of it all, "So, who is this... Giroux guy they keep talking about?" and I had to practically bite my tongue to keep from saying, "Oh, he's totally married to this other Flyer, and they are totes adorbs!" *sigh*)
to be fair, Joyous did explain the source of all of your mutual grudge and I do respect THAT. (But also: SO MARRIED. and also so much charm and likeability in that team! :D? also, did you see what Jagr tweeted early on in the Pens/Philly series? he is a FLAWLESS HUMAN-SHAPED TROLL.)
