In this case it may just be a case of mistaken gender, as it is with a lot of birds, but there is a lot of homosexual behavior in many animal species. Like hyenas! :D

haha, they love each other! And I got their genders verified and was relieved and surprised to find out they were birds. We were convinced that they were both girls. I love my gay bird sons!
