inorite? Vet says its good in moderation and the bird loves it. He also loves cheese too. Mostly he gets vegetables and fruit in addition to his pellet feed but chicken is a special treat!
We don't eat much dairy ourselves so there's not a lot of opportunity. Also, I've heard that dairy and birds don't get along well because they keep stuff in their crop and live cultures, etc.. yeah, not sure about that though (ask your vet!)
Anyway, Micah and Niko do get *very* interested in anything we're eating... unless it's green. Micah will usually try something once and decide if she likes it or not. It actually took us a while to get her to eat watermelon but now she's all about it. She's most into starches like rice, potato, bread, waffles. Second best would be fruit, but only if it's not wet (yeah, totally not spoiled)

We let Catie have a shred of cheese so nothing huge but thank you for the information, I'll try and keep their dairy intake levels way down :)
Spoiled birds = bestest birds :)
