Awwww. ♥ What a great and happy story! I'm so glad you posted although I have no idea how you found the time to write it! I know I have said this like 40 times already but I am so so sososososososo glad that you got such a good birth experience. (The part from the hospital on sounds 97% identical to my birth with Ellie, too funny.) (PS - This is not helping my baby fever. At all.)
I remember reading your birth story and was all "thankfriggengod she got a quick birth" after going past your EDD so long! This birth was really healing and while it was intense, I'd take it again in a heartbeat.
Awesome, awesome birth story and what a sweet looking boy! I have to say that I paused at the part where the doctor turned the baby around from posterior on one try. I so wish someone had realized that for me during my labor and given that an attempt!
I can't believe he did it too, but I'm telling you, old skool drs know their stuff. He was practicing before ultrasounds. It's really hard not to think about what could have been had he been in attendance for T's birth, so I try and not think of it because it's a moot point. But it doesn't make me not wish I could have had that too.
