In Which Frog Becomes Less of a Luddite

This is not the kind of reflective, glowy, epiphany post you'd expect from me at this time of year. Eventually I'll get around to that. For now I wish to announce: I got an iPod for Christmas and Good God it has changed my life already.

Carry on.

Good. now you can go get a microphone for it and finally have the audio recorder for grand parent stories that you wanted to get last year.

Somewhat sadly, I went ahead and got a hand-held recorder last year, figuring it was cheaper than an iPod... Oh well -- I like it a lot and will keep using it...

There is joy in admitting that certain technology is fabulously wonderful. Be not afraid! Apple successfully marketed to me long, long ago and I have never regretted it. And I second the vote for the recorder thing. You should get the one I have. I'll show you sometime.

See above -- I actually got the recorder awhile ago because I wasn't willing to wait any longer for the stories... :)

I suppose it is only fitting that I have succumbed to the iPod, since you and I are the same person. :)
