I think in the last post my response was misunderstood. I find genetic research extremely interesting. However, it seems that a lot of people look at this research to show that homosexuality has an excuse and has a simple biological basis. Again, all behaviors, at their core, have biological roots. Our DNA is the foundation of who we are as humans. Again, however, homosexuality cannot be explained simply through biology. In order for these studies to mean anything, they would need to do a lot more comparative studies. Think about the mothers with one gay son, 25%, a statistically significant amount, processed the chromosome differently, but 75% did not. Like all behaviors, and I mean that in the broadest sense of the word, as in all things a person does are behaviors, cannot be explained solely through genetics. The other problem is that this will never give legitimacy for homosexuality. So what if it's not a choice. Acceptance will not come through some scientific evidence.
