Rose is all done with kindergarten! I'm so proud of all the hard work she's done. She's reading chapter books on her own now. She can add and subtract two digit numbers (though we haven't done "carries" and "borrowing" yet). And her powers of observation are still astounding

I am so bummed I am missing the festival. :/ it is these little things that really make me miss being there. :(:(

She participated in an online kindergarten, right? How did she like it? Do you think you'll continue on with the same program next year?

It's sad to see the Strawberry Festival tradition fall apart :(. I like to remember the first year, when we missed the festival altogether and stood out in the rain eating substitute ice cream treats :).
