My advice for nearly everyone is to not rush it, and take the time to think about how you feel. The rest of your answers usually fall in to place after you're sure about your feelings.

I'm not really sure how I feel, it's all kind of confusing.

Well, sure it is - first time kissing someone with the idea it could be special, I'd be surprised if you didn't have lots of new feelings to sort through.
