BIRTHDAYS!!

I'm afraid I'm a bit behind on birthdays - so here are 2 late birthday wishes and 1 barely on time. I hope you each had your own version of a very special birthday in a wonderful setting - and what could be more wonderful than The Shire?

Thank you, Mary, I had a really good day yesterday. I did have to spend a little time writing the thesis but it felt good to get that bit done, and today I took off from that and wrote a ficlet, so I'm feeling even better. :D

(((((Mary))))) I hope you're feeling okay now. And thank you very much for your sweet and kind words. My mom is slowly getting better, although she's not out of the hospital yet. We're hopeful that she'll be allowed to go home next week. :))

And the following week, I'll be seeing you in NYC. I can't wait!

You're welcome, dear Ellen. I hope your Mom continues to improve - slow but steady wins the race!! I can't wait to meet up in NYC - less than 2 weeks now!!

The Prednisone has done the trick and my breathing is much better - so now I'm back to just my fat, out-of-shape SOB (which I can live with)!!

I'll continue to keep you and your family close to my heart and send lots of love and healing thoughts your Mom's way - *BIG HUGS*
