Work particularly sucked this week. All two days of it. I have class until fairly late in the day, but they scheduled me to come in to work in the mid-afternoon. At least they were cool about me showing up three hours late. If not that would be grounds for quitting. Work on Saturday officially sucked. Sometimes that job feels mildly important. Maybe its someone's wedding, or a fundraiser, or a business convention. Grades came out today. I did about as good as I could hope for. There's still a little room for improvement for the second half. I figure this is my most important semester. Classes are going well. Im "that guy" in a couple of classes. Summer session one is half over. I like summer school a lot better than regular semesters. Less people in town makes traffic a lot better, I only have to put up with each class for 5 weeks instead of 15, and there is no time to allow myself to fall behind ( Read more... )
