I feel like I’m losing my mind.

My parents are talking about getting back together after being broken up over 10 years.

I feel so overwhelmed and confused and scared.

Not surprisingly I have ended up the parent counselling them both through what to do.

I’ve been feeling so lonely lately, like I don’t really have anyone to talk to.

I can't comment on the parent thing, but i hope it is a good move and is the right thing for them to do.
But i have to say friends are a funny breed sometimes aren't they? In the end it's just time to prune the bushes so to speak, people who aren't really into it will simply drop off the face of the planet whereas those you really connect with will always seem to be around somehow.
Don't let it get you down though, social status (at least from what i have seen myself) dies off once people start hitting 24-25 because it's alot harder to be cool and edgy when you're 8 years older than the new kids on the block.

I'll be back in Melbs over Christmas, maybe i can fix your computer :p

what a confusing time for you. 10 years is such a long time apart...i agree with 'joelage' though, i hope it works out for them and for all of you. i'm sure they'll make the right decision.
i don't know what i'd do if my parents ever got back together. i'd be well freaked out.

its the same here up in newcastle, everyone is so arrogant and self centered i feel like i've lost touch with alot of people... it sucks...its such a ghost town

i know we don't talk a whole lot but if you ever need someone to talk to i'm always a phone call/email away.

:)

I think that’s the hard part, I always thought I had Newcastle as an escape that nothing would change there, but when I visited everyone seems to be fighting with everyone and its gotten so weird…

i told you about fucked up people down here.
since i've been in melbourne i've probably met the same ratio of wankers as you have who have just wasted my time.
so dont bother with people. make a few close friends and thats all you need.. actually just keep your old friends and convince them to move here rather than trying to filter through all the fuckwitts to make some decent friends.
oh if you cant tell i've had a horrible day today haha
