It's been almost a year since I last updated. I have this notion that blogs without pictures are exceedingly boring, and have been telling myself that one day, when I have a digital camera, then I'll have a blog. After reading Mike H-F's blog for a while, I've changed my mind. I realize, after writing this, that you, dear fellow blogger, are ( Read more... )

mary's, ethan, vermont, sex, work, susannah, rats, delicious, spiders

If you meant offended about the rats, I wasn't: Killing rats, mice and rodents is life in the country. If you meant the imagining of primary needs of your coworkers, I do that all the time but I've never actually thought to post about it.

I'd be curious to know what it was about my blog that reinvigorated your interest in your own.

The snow here is wonderful. We got another 6 or 8 inches last night and today.

It makes me want to buy some cross country skis, 'cause my own are in MN.

Likewise for buying cheap plastic sleds and sledding down a big hill, aptly called "Hospital Hill."

Phoning sometime would be good. After New Years, maybe?

It's good to have an update.
When I saw that you were in Vermont (myspace, etc.), I'd wondered if you were staying with Ethan. How's life been treating you post camp, besides the lack of snogging?

I've been rather amazing. I switched up my plans a few times since camp, and right now am caught up in a whirlwind of work and school, the end goal being moving to Portland with Anna, Adrienne, and possibly others this summer. I was able to go to Vancouver last month, and will probably go again once spring break comes, which is. And I'm applying to be on jr. staff this year, which I'm really nervous/excited about. So, lots of busyness and new goals.

This post enchants me because I love the way you see & talk about animals. I do the same thing. I love cohabiting with spiders.

You and Newt both have dishwasher/kitchen jobs ... I want one!

hey hey-
number is 3102373075.
the farm i was working on was in PA north of Philly about an hour in Oley. it was called Covered Bridge Produce. however, it's closed down--they were always kind of having hard times financially, i think. but, if yr friend is interested in working on a farm she should check out www.organicvolunteers.org

love,
m
