i think you can truly tell how much your friends care based on which phrase they use most often:

"gimmie a call..." (sometime, next week, tomorrow, later, etc)

or

"i'll call you..." (sometime, next week, tomorrow, later, etc)

this was not a commentary on my friends, or an attempt for attention in the form of getting friends to call. this was a commentary on other peoples friends.

i think i would feel loved if all my professors and teachers said:

"Oh, you're getting sick, and you want to get it over with before you go to Paris? I completely understand! I'll give you an A for the entire quarter, because you're the most fucking hard working student I've ever had (that's the truth)."
