Been sort of thinking about a lot of things, and there's actually a big serious post I want to write, but it keeps not quite happening.

And that's also kind of the problem, and kind of the thing I'm writing the post ABOUT-- things just kind of not happening, losing touch with people sort of on accident and how much I hate that, and how awkward it

I haven't touched the series because I don't really do anime/manga anymore, but I know a fair amount of my friends on Tumblr are interested in it, probably in part because S1 of the anime is on Instant.

Obviously, I strongly recommend it.

I think that, for you, there's not a whole lot of reason to watch the series-- I feel like the way that they express the silliness of the series in the anime isn't something you'd find particularly compelling.

But if you're in a comic sort of a mood, I suggest the manga. Though the art style is very much what you'd expect from a manga, I find the panel layout and overall visual style to be very western, and I know you've been reading a ton of comics, recently.

I don't think that you'll be as into it as I am, but it's free online and I think you wouldn't regret a metaphorical rainy Saturday curled up in bed with it.

I am SO making time to read the manga online (I still haven't!) but omg just from the anime... this is seriously everything that I love rolled into one extremely beautiful package.

But I think you already know that. Haha
