Here via remixthedrabble, and I just wanted to say how much I liked this. It seems like it shouldn't work for me: the repetition, the fact that Kira/Dukat isn't a pairing I usually find remotely appealing... But somehow it does, very much so, and that's really cool.
Here to add my two cents' worth: I really enjoyed this, with the dreamy/nightmarish repetition, and the solid details that ground Kira in her present and past - the underside of the plant leaf in her quarters, the dirt and leaves swirled up by Dukat's ship. I like that each instance alters a little, while the dreams of the past fuel Kira's unwilling, fascinated, remembered desire.
I like the detail that by now, she's calling the station Terok Nor, and that the Dominion troops are people she works with and talks with. Occupied again, but this time, she's not on the outside, defending Bajor with her gun from and mesmerized by the all-too-magnetic Dukat, but now she stands between Bajor and the Dominion in the same uncertain and terrible place with him.
