Answer this to yourself: "If you had the power to be invisible and you could get away with anything, what would you do?"

Yes. What others think of us and if we are loved are very important to us as a species. We come from times when rejection meant death and being unaccepted or breaking away from the tribe was suicide, and sometimes it still is. Government keeps us from killing eachother. Or it helps us kill people on a more massive level, but it all stems from the need to belong. The need to prove yourself to society and those crucial people around you. Government keeps us snug and happy and kills people for us and acts with stealth so that we don't have to. So that we can feel like something is being done.

(I hope this isn't like the butterfly question...that one was torture and apparently my comment wasn't very accurate. Sometimes I wonder why I continue to rant in communities...but anyway I do so there my rant is)

Sorry so are you saying that if the government didn't keep us fed and happy then we would be killing each other to feel like we belonged to the group that we aren't trying to kill? I need to make that I understand your answer correctly.

The government therefore discourages individuality?
