Funny enough, I use the exact same technique when dealing with customer service people. Fido and Rogers can be such a headache, and it doesn't help when they keep you on hold for the better part of half an hour or longer. I think the real keys to this method is the irrefutable logic + remaining unfailingly polite. It always feels good to beat them!
