I like when people ask... rather than me nerding out and telling them for no reason.
You might have noticed by my journal site that i am somewhat of a history buff... and one of my focus's of interest in the last little while has been on the eastern front in WW2. Every army had a term for a seasoned soldier, or a veteran of the front. The Germans used the term "Landser", the Amercians "G.I" the Red Army used the term "Frontovik"... thought they were less numerous than the previous two due to the extremely short life span of a soldier in the Red Army during WW2...
