It wasn't really coffee, but I actually liked the taste of it... I've had a couple of mugs of the most instant-est, muckest, lowest-grade Nescafé instant coffee today and it tastes and smells exactly like this:

my nana (mum's mum) used to drink that, and if i went to stay with her down in central otago she'd make me make it for her and it STINKS.
