and lol yeah, they fit with each other, but that wasn't very hard considering, that these two lines were the only ones she had this season :D she's still hella pretty tough and it's always a pleasure to icon her (#voteLydia, yay!). I wasn't sure about the composition on Tietjens, but I kinda messed up the cutting out and I was too lazy to try another cap, so silhouette it is :D

jsfunction; OMG! It's hard to pick favorite because all of them are so magnificent and so well done ♥ I adore your coloring and the contrast here! But maybe mine super favorite is Olivia! I mean, look that coloring!! ♥♥ SO vibrant and AMAZING !! Love text background and the composition is stunning!! The hair and her jacket is stunning! And yay, you make Rickyl! I love the muted tone and grunge texture! MAKE ME MORE! :D And there something so cool about Dean icon; I love the sharpening so much!! ♥ The crop is perfect and the b&w is also so stunning; the contrast is gorgeous! And how creative and unique is Arthur! omg; the composition and the set-up; the icon is juts freaking amazing!!!! I love the blending and the vibrant colors! And again; LOVE Christopher!! Amazing vibrant colors again and background is stunning! Love how you cut-out the character! :)♥

whoa, I definitely didn't expect Olivia to be anyone's favorite, I thought it was the ugliest one from me :O I'm never happy with the first icon I make, lol. But thank you so much for the super lovely comment! The Daryl icon ruined my plans to make a fully vibrant set, that cap just didn't want to be vibrant so then I said screw it and made some dark grunge instead, and kept the lack of colors for the next three as well... I'm pleased you like the Dean one since I was afraid it would look lazy, I did barely anything to it, it was my experiment in seeing if I can use contrast only to make an icon good, plus I thought it fit the mood of the ep I watched :) and the Arthur one was super fun to make, I was so inspired by that movie, so I really tried to represent the levels and a dreamlike vibe in that one!

TWD is so freaking hard to color, I try, believe me, I try .. but then ended up with b&w :D so I'm glad you like the Daryl icon :D And also I'm glad everyone likes the Lydia icon, it was one of my favourites as well, yay! :D

I'm so happy to see Inception icons, especially of Arthur (my favorite character in the film, along with Eames)! I saw it in theaters after it first came out, and to this day it's still one of my favorite movies. You guys did a great job with these!

jsfunction: Great composition and bright, vivid colors in Olivia. It almost reminds me of a comic book look. I love the intense contrast and grittiness in Dean. Christopher also has some really beautifully vibrant coloring and an interesting kind of framing using a non-frame texture.

shameless666: I'm digging the close crop and texture use in Steve. I love the composition of Clarke, with that slightly faded stock background along with the text. That's become part of your signature style and I'm a fan. Fun text and texture use in Lydia as well.

thyla87: The animated flamethrower (?) effect in Daryl is so awesome, and I love how it's grayscale. It fits in seamlessly with the composition while still standing out because of its zaniness. The blue colors are lovely as well. Nice composition and color contrast in Dean. I

lol, I guess I made a lot of this type icons, but didn't realize until you pointed it out. I'm kinda obsessed with stock backgrounds recently, so I'm glad you like the end results! :)

Lovely icons this round, guys! Here are my favourites:

jsfunction
- Olivia - the coloring in this is awesome and I love the color combination - cyan & yellow is always a win! The composition is also great and I love the decorative text use!
- Daryl - the blending and the dark coloring in this is great and although I haven't watched the show for a long time, I know a lot of people ship Rick & Daryl, so that icon is right on point :D
- Gin - the blocking in this icon is perfect and I really like the b&w + yellow combination.

Overall great coloring on the whole set, I love the color explosion on the Arthur icon and the crops of Lydia and Dean icons!

On the episodes thoughts:
The 100 - as I've said multiple times, the first 4-5 episodes of the season are nothing to be excited about. I really didn't like Octavia at the beginning as well, she was represented as those mean girls from the movies, very shallow and only caring about herself, but imo she's the character, that has developed the most through the seasons and she'll grow on you (assuming

- Dean - you're so so good on far crops! I really love this icon, the texture use is great as are the b&w tones!
- Christopher - the coloring in this icon is great and as I said about Tommy's Olivia icon, the cyan & yellow combination is always a win (I was obsessed with it a while ago and it was basically all that I was doing lol :D)
- Gin - great composition, I love the silhouette against the colorful background (and yay for us both making silhouettes icons this round :D)

The 100 - the season started great, but I HATE what the writers are doing to the characters, they're basically ruining everything they build the last two seasons. Pike definitely needs to die asap, but it's unlikely to happen before the season finale (just a speculation on my part). I doubt they will kill Bellamy either (at least this season), I'm expecting he will be the one to kill Pike and that will start his redemption arc (those arcs are my least favourites, so I'm not really excited about it). I'm afraid at least one of Abby and Kane will die this

The 100 : I know, right!! I really like Bellamy, especially how he developed on the second season and now they are ruining the character :( It's not right. I really scare that he will die. I haven't seen last 2 episodes yet, I have to watch them soon! Did you like Murphy? I think that he is awesome! :D

And by the way; I started to watch shameless! Which version have you watched? I started watching U.S. I am now on season 3 and it is awesome! :D LOL. ;) Who is your favorite? :p

No worries, I know that life gets in the way sometimes :D

And yeah, they ruined them, it's like he's completely different character this season :( But with so many deaths this season, I actually think he can make it, but you never know with this show :D I haven't last the last one either, too busy with other things and tbh this season kinda dissapointed me, so it's not on top of my watchlist either :D I can't decide about Murphy yet, I need to see more of him. This season they have been focusing too much on the new characters and basically ignored all of my faves besides Clarke. I hope that will change in the second half of the season.

And yay for starting Shameless. It was my favourite show when I re-joined LJ, but I think everyone has figured that by now :D I watch the US version too, although I'm 3-4 episodes behind this season (too many shows and no time whatsoever). My favourites are Ian, Micky and Lip. But I love Mandy and all the Gallaghers too. What are yours so far? :)
