Some people are very self absorbed and belive the world owes them something. This person is not big enough to take responcibility for his own actions. I would be mad not sympathetic. BUT I am becomming a hardass nowa days.
As policy those who admit their screw up I will be leanent with to a degree as long as it happens only once. Those who make excuses get themselves in a pickle.
What I take from this is.... we need a day soon. You me beer and shots about how much each other suck..... and how much employees suck.
Channel your inner ring thief and soon you will be one with Gollum. You will then be able to respond to “My daughter says Happy Birthday.” with "My presssious?" and “I guess my daughter is getting nothing this year.” with "I HATES THEM, I HATES THEM!". Promptly I suggest biting said employees finger off making him less capable of doing work. I know you have it in you ring bearer!
