1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate. With Kahlua and chocolate liqeur.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Wraps them. Mostly. Usually until mindnight on Christmas Eve. 8)
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Colored lights!
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No, I've never gotten my hands on it.
5. When do you put your decorations up?
Whenever. I'm changing between families every year, and both families have had things that made normal tradition shattered. We're finding out as we go again.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
Candied sweet potatoes. No really.
7. Favorite Holiday Memory as a child?
People. All of my family decorating the tree, with a sing-along Christmas songs put out by disney.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
That he lives in the North Pole? I've known that for as long as I can remember.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
No.
10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him?
Chocolate chip, or spice cookies..
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
I LOVE snow.
12. Can you ice skate?
No. If I wanted to kill myself I'd find a less traumatic way than strapping blades to my feet and jumping onto ice.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Honestly, m parents used to get us these bears every Christmas. And I loved that.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
People. I love that I can look strangers in the eye, smile, and say 'Happy Holidays!' and they'll smile right back. The other eleven months of the year, not so much with the strangers being willing to smile back.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
.Ice cream. Vanilla ice cream. In the red dishes we only got to use at Christmas at grandmom's.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I miss getting Christmas trees, cramped in my dad's old truck, fighting with my brother all the way to our favorite Christmas tree farm, tramping through the snow, drinking hot cider, and smelling the tree all the way home.
17. What tops your tree?
An angel.
18. Which do you prefer Giving or Receiving?
Giving. I adore getting presents for people. Seriously, it's one of my favorite things to do.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol?
Oh Come All Ye Faithful. I know that's off, but I LOVE the way that sounds.
