Oh, no. David Eddings died yesterday. :(

Sadness. :( David Eddings is dead, and I didn't even realize his wife (and writing partner, it sounds like) died in 2007.

A very sweet obituary.

There are certainly flaws in Eddings' work, but right now is not the time to discuss them. I met the Belgariad when I was just the right age to meet it, and I loved it.
