O'Reily has a series of very good books on all things computers. You should pick up their HTML book and just read through it over a weekend or so. It's very easy to understand, and laid out well so than when you go back to see exactly how something was done, it's easy to follow. When you make a website, using html will not give you any fancy animations or such. However, a good website should be oriented towards usability, not aestetics. Once you have the html down on how to set up the structure of your website, you can use CSS (which is also explained in fair detail in the HTML book) to spice it up nicely. But getting a good framework down first is essential.

Hey, we nerds love you right back.
I'll gladly help out with a website, where I can, but I think I'm in the same place you are as far as code goes.

I've been to LA once. I'd say you were told nothing but the truth. Even from Anaheim you can feel the grime in the air.

you'll wanna start with the html tutorial on the left. i'll see about getting you dreamwaver when i send pirates of darkwater. that's a really good program that lets you adjust what the website looks like. it lets you do all the coding stuff that i mess with too.

pete and i can help, and i know a lot of accomplished new media majors that could also help. but i will demand macaroni and cheese.

I'll go to Scotland with you, for the week you think? We can stay at the club in London. But I am bringing my kilt.

Sounds Fab, and I still want to read your stories.
