There are Deists and Theists

And there are Atheists

But why do you never hear of Deists?

That got me to wondering

You can be a theist and believe a god made the world and answers prayers
You can be a deist and believe a god made the world and then kept out of it
You can be agnostic and believe you can't know if there is a god
You can be atheist and deny the existence of a god
You can be apostate and forsake a god you used to belive in

Personally these days I lean towards Deism

Pretty much, Its for those of us who believe in a god but not that said god takes an active part in our daily lives, watching over us, answering prayers and the like ( ... )
