That was pretty much my reaction to the episode itself, and the Water 7-arc as a whole has me scraping my jaw off the floor every other minute.

Ah - well. Be prepared to watch a while, then. *grins* All of One Piece is pretty awesome - terrifically dorky one moment and then absolutely heartrending the next, if you're into that special brand of slightly melodramatic heartrending - but the Water 7-arc doesn't start until episode 230-ish.

However, if you're willing to sacrifice time, do try to get your hands on the first forty-fifty episodes - that gives you enough time to get to know the characters, and of those, the last ten episodes concerns the above-mentioned Arlong Park. Those episodes also made me cry, so I suppose that counts for something.
