Post Your Mood Ideas here!

I just thought I'd get a running post going of some requests. I may or may not feel inclined to do them but you never know. I did do an orca one that was unusual and I turned out loving it :)

A mood theme of Canada would be lovely.

It seems to me, mood icons with different colourful flowers would be great! *)
Also, I had an idea of mood icons with famous paintings, which we all can see in the Louvre museum, for example *))

In any case, your works are very beautiful :)

OMG! You already had a mood set with flowers!! I'm very sorry - I haven't seen it, it's quite strange, but somehow I missed it...
Again - very sorry..

It would be wonderful to see something on Art Nouveau. This was a movement at the beginning of the 20th century and included jewellery, glass - such as Tiffany, furniture, architecture, every art and craft form you can think of. Most of the forms emphasised nature - lots of dragonflies and vines! And there were wonderful sinuous designs, whole houses and buildings designed with every aspect from the door handle to the light fittings designed in Art Nouveau. Famous AN Artists include Klimt, Mucha, Tiffany. Very beautiful and visual and there should be plenty of images available on the web!
This site http://www.artlex.com/ArtLex/a/artnouveau.html has quite a good overview and lots more links. Hope this might interest you! With your eye and design skills the result could be fabulous!

Fantastic! I meant to say that there were lots more links on the ArtLex page but as you are already a fan, you probably know lots anyway! I was lucky enough to see the major Art Nouveau exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2000 which then transferred to Washington. It was amazing. And when I occasionally get to visit Belgium or France it is always interesting looking out for AN architecture.
Thanks so much - I love your work!

Well, I may be a fan but I haven't looked it up in a while, so busy doing stuff but I love the entire movement.

You are really lucky to have seen it. I never was able to! Goodness. Lovely. Here in Portland we have some nice art nouveau architecture if you know where to look. That is lovely, I must admit.

How about a theme on lemurs? Or, more feasible probably, monkeys in general? I know you have several monkeys in different themes already, but not a whole theme specifically for them.

South America as a theme might make for a nice combination of focus points as well if you keep it pretty general.

I hope that sparks some ideas for you at least even if you decide not to make any of them. ^-^

I love the photos of monkeys that you've used for your mood themes. (Actually, I love your mood themes, period. They're pure eye candy.)

(Oooh, also I hope it's all right if I tell you this here, but I stumbled across your 'African Safari' mood theme and love it to bits and pieces. Thus, I snagged it, am using it and have credited.)

I'll assume that you wont like this idea but how about horror mood themes? I'd be forever greatful!

not completely unfeasible if I could use those classic movies. And I'd need some links. 0I will really have to be in the mood though. But this would be a spectacular idea for halloween.
