Last night I was blessed to provide music for one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, worship services that we do during this season. Why do all those hurts and pains blossum and explode at christmas can't we do that some other time of the year so that Christmas can be a "Happier" occasion. I HOPE and I pray for the pain and memories to become manageable and sweeter and and and... keep wishin'

The hurts and pains are noticeable at Christmas because it is a happy time; thus, enduring sadness especially stands out in contrast. Also, Christmas traditionally is a time for gathering together with loved ones, and reminds people of the absence of dead loved ones. Yet, we Christians are fortunate that Christmas is also a reminder of the promise from God that he will reunite people with their loved ones.
