Deacon class started up again tonight, and I think this class will go better than the last one. We have a different teacher this time, one who enjoys learning as much as he does lecturing. I think he will be very open to questions and be focused in his answers. We will have writing assignments and some tests to keep us accountable. I like this ( Read more... )

I am reading the Book of Concord (a page or two at a time). The edition I have gives the history and the background of what the Lutheran Church was doing at that time. Whoever thought the Augsburg Confession could be so entertaining.

Be sure and wish Grandpa a happy 75th birthday. We were up there this past weekend. Grandma and I let Marilyn and Grandpa when some games of pinochle. No snow so I did trail maintenance.
