If you had to choose 3 songs to put on the last cd you would ever get to own, what goes on that disk?

Thank you Frost. Your compliment has been marked down in the `Yay!` column.

It's easy to pick 3 songs. Think of songs you really like, listen to them, and then decide if you could listen to the song constantly for an extended period of time.

Besides, audiophiles are concerned with getting the best sound quality they can.

This isn't about sound quality, this is about songs. For me, that means emotional resonance.

In no particular order:

The Beatles: Come Together

U2: Still haven't found what I'm looking for

Johnny Cash: If you could read my mind

As a joke, my friend was going to have his first dance at his wedding reception be U2: Still haven't found what I'm looking for

Nice!
I have a great version of that track, with the Harlem Gospel Choir backing up the band. The energy is thick, even in the recording.

I'm too flaky in my music tastes, probably because I listen to techno.
but 3 top choices for me would be:
Pink Floyd: Comfortably Numb
Aerosmith: Dream on
I can't think of a third, it would betray all the other songs I like, in a pinch I might toss on My Chemical Romance: Black Parade(because it's stuck in my head) or New Order: Confusion.

mmm since you said nothing of length or format on cd...I would have some full albums of mixed music. Each track would be over an hour long :P

But the real trick is, what if you just moved on from cds? >:3
