It's easy to pick 3 songs. Think of songs you really like, listen to them, and then decide if you could listen to the song constantly for an extended period of time.
Besides, audiophiles are concerned with getting the best sound quality they can.
This isn't about sound quality, this is about songs. For me, that means emotional resonance.
I'm too flaky in my music tastes, probably because I listen to techno. but 3 top choices for me would be: Pink Floyd: Comfortably Numb Aerosmith: Dream on I can't think of a third, it would betray all the other songs I like, in a pinch I might toss on My Chemical Romance: Black Parade(because it's stuck in my head) or New Order: Confusion.

I have a great version of that track, with the Harlem Gospel Choir backing up the band. The energy is thick, even in the recording.
