So I hope that didn't come across as me being really against the things I listed (drinking, smoking, etc) - I'm not at all, and that's an individual decision for everyone. It just surprises me every time I learn something about my friends. That's all.

Oh...my...gosh...I think we are social twins.

I feel exactly the same way about all of that. Granted that I hang out with mostly mormans or people who wouldn't want to offend mormans, so it's not my immediate friends who are doing it - I completely understand.

I feel as though I am going into college, blind to everything "scandalous." I have never been to a party where there was alcohol. I haven't even been to a party where there was kissing. Come to think of it, I haven't ever been to a PARTY. So atleast you are a little bit more prepared than I am.

But I would really like to talk with you about all this some time. And if you ever want to escape all that, you can hang out with me. I am all about good, clean, sober fun. Just call me up and I'll pretend like I was in a car accident and you need to come save me. FAST! Okay?

I think that's the highest compliment I can get. :) Thanks so much for calling me...you have no idea how much it helped to just try and talk about it and sort it out and be reassured that I'm not crazy. You are most definitely not the only one. It's funny how we all wonder if we're alone in feeling this way when so many of us are feeling it. If that makes sense. :) You're the best!
