First half: Love can make both men and women do odd things. You can ask the question, Why do some women stay with abusive boyfriends? The answer is that they love them. Seems wierd to us, but whatever.

Second half: Depends on the woman. Every woman likes something different. Biologically, women are attracted to men that are going to have the strongest seed, so in my opinion, women tend to be attracted to stronger, more physically fit men with personality. I know not all women, but this is a generalization.
