ok so its my dads birthday ... yay right? nopeeee i wake up to my parents screaming on the top of their lungs at eachother... like i was upstairs they were in the kitchen and i heard every word loud and clear. has anyone ever listened to parents fight like that? i find it so awkward and hate when it happens i usually try and drown them out but i

Everyone's parents fight like that. Everyone has arguements that may be hurtful to themselves or witnesses, but the ones that seem to stand out the most are those of parents witnessed by their children. They seem worse than average because the fight's in thier inner circle.

I hear my parents argue all the time, but it's mostly because my father's in the military and my mother (and I) hates moving when we finally feel settled. Except my parents argue in Spanish so sometimes I feel like I shouldn't be trying to brush up on that language these days.

If you can't drown them out, see if you can go out and take a walk or something, find a new hobby, explore new music. You know, trying something new is always a great way to get your mind off a troubling topic.

yeahh i usually go for a walk or blast music but i couldnt do either of those this morning... i know everyones parents fight i was just venting =) lol but yes you were helpful thanks
