I may not make it onto Ships and Dip III

...Through no fault of my own. Alright, so y'all know I would be on TRB regardless. First artist announced (other than Sister Hazel) was Marc Broussard. Sounds good to me, I love his music and his voice and he is an amazing performer.

Then, in an artist-hint dropping thread, they mention Josh Kelley, Bain Mattox (both of whom I enjoy), Sons of William (don't know them), Keith Kane of Vertical Horizon (saw him this year and loved his set), and...

...Toad the Wet Sprocket!!! With additional solo shows by Glen Phillips. Glen was on solo in '06. Cue the first mini-stroke with this news. I am a huge fan of Toad. Love them, never thought I'd see them together again.

Today was a major shock (a lovely, wonderful heart attack shock). By this point Aslyn had been added (she is another artist I really enjoy). First Tod update of the day? Andy Davis (yet another one I listen to often), and (here's #2)...

...MATT NATHANSON!!! Okay, so I know he was supposed to be on the boat in '05, but for that bitch Katrina. I really hoped they would book him again. (He was my selection on the survey for artist you most want to see on the ship.)

Just checked the board again now, and found #3...

...Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers!!! These guys were my #2 choice for the survey answer. In fact, I typed both them and Matt N. multiple times trying to decide. I will be seeing them at the end of the month and I may well squee at them when I tell them how happy this makes me. I honestly never though they would be booked again. They were on the roster in '04, but had to back out. Rumors of Stephen's seasickness abounds as the reason they haven't been on board. I will threaten them with bodily harm if they so much as think about backing out this year.

So, if Sixthman expects me to survive TRBVIII for S&DIII, they can't book too many more of my favorites. Methinks I need to ask for a digital video camera for Christmas this year.
