So, the job I've basically been waiting for since my college internships has finally opened up. Here it is.I haven't written a resume in years! And would it be tacky or favorable to pull out my recommendation letter from my supervisor at the aquarium? Ack! I don't even know what the pay would be like, but I am sure it won't be great. I think it would be favorable to pull out the recommendation from your supervisor at the aquarium. It shows that you've worked there and you didn't suck, so you know the flow. Unless, of course, that supervisor left the aquarium unfavorably. ;)

I have some resume sites bookmarked at home.

Definitely go for it and include the recommendation. Mention your internship in the cover letter.

You're right. Ever since I spent two summers there I told myself that if a position opened up in that department, that I would go for it. I'm just having doubts from being out of the field for so long. But I think if I address that in the cover letter I'll have a shot. (I hope!)
