So I say I'll post more and then it takes another month? Oops. I saw this movie back in February, but IMO it's the perfect one to watch in this summer weather so I'm telling you all to watch it now if you haven't already.

I saw a trailer of this a little while ago, and I immediately loved the style and feel of it. The summary/plot made me hesitant about watching it right away though, because love triangles often make me feel a bit :/

I think I will check it out though :) some feels never killed anyone, and if I can make it through The Place Beyond the Pines I can make it through this, I'm sure!

I remember that back in February I wasn't sure if I should rec it to you or not because of the love triangle. But I think it's good that you give it a try. How was The Place Beyond the Pines?

I thought it was really good but also really really really depressing. I hadn't expected it to be quite that down and hopelessly depressing. I also hadn't expected it to be so clearly divide into three different parts, with a "main character" for every part - not that I minded, just that I missed Ryan Gosling in the other parts, cause he was by far the star of the movie. Was a little disappointed by Bradley Cooper's character because IDK, I really like Bradley and his character was really :/ and I didn't like him in that kind of role, I guess.

I really recommend it though, the music was amazing as well, it was just really depressing XD

Before watching this movie I was only 'familiar' with Polley's work as an actress, though I knew of Away from Her (just never watched it) but Take This Waltz convinced me of her genius alright XD

her work is like if film met someone and had an even more awesome baby!

I haven't seen her new one, no! I should, right? RIGHT? I looked it up just now and it's coming out next week in Belgium! :D
