What a day. Took Ian out to a playground, ran 3 loads of laundry, brewed a batch of beer and got groceries. All since 2:00 this afternoon. Ready to collapse. Tomorrow taking Ian to the Carnegie Science Center with Franc and "Amy". Looking at Abay for dinner afterwards. Should be quite a day

Got to run around on my own tonight. Had dinner at PF Changs. The hot and sour soup was a disappointment. The lettuce wraps were as good as ever. Had a very spicy lamb stir fry that was divine. Stopped in at Rock Bottom and tried their Milk Stout. Reasonably tasty. Then popped into 3R6P and bummed around with the staff. Got home a little after 11. ( Read more... )

Had a lovely day out yesterday. Got out to Twin Lakes Park and enjoyed the weather. Watched some more Coupling with Melissa and had wonderful pizza. Today I slept in a bit and then took advantage of the nice weather to get lawn mowing in. Ok, had Ian to myself tonight and after going out to mow the lawn pizza was on my brain. I decided to try Vincents Pizza Palace in Irwin. The opinion is decidedly meh. The dough was crunchy but too bready, not enough sauce and what was there was oddly tangy and off. Very greasy despite not having any topping to account for that. Cool day with the windows open, Giant glass of celestial seasonings Blueberry herb tea and football on the TV. Life is good.
