The tag you're looking for is [lj-cut text="here's what you'd see as the link"] then all your stuff, then [/lj-cut]. Use the <> instead of the [], of course. You can also leave out the "text=" part, and then it just says "more here," or something like that.
And I also moved three weeks ago, and my home DSL still hasn't made the switch. Even though I moved a distance of about nine vertical feet. Apparently, this is the kind of work that takes a month to accomplish. Government may have its inefficiencies, but industry ain't far behind.
