thank you! My mother made the outfit for me. All I asked her for was a simple skirt out of iridescent fabric, but as soon as she heard I wanted to do a peacock she really went to town on it!

well, when I see you I think 'goddess' and goddess+peacock feathers = Hera...

though I was hesitant to refer to her, as I'm not sure if she was associated with beauty, but I'm pretty sure all of the greek goddesses were supposed to be beautiful :p

ahh yes of course! I didn't even think of that, she was fabled to have put the eyes in the peacocks tail! A story for another shoot perhaps :)

the colours are very beautiful, not usually combinations I wear much, but they work so perfectly together. I guess mother nature knew what she was doing when she made the peacock ;)
