Rather like these.. the rusty background colours work well.
The entire contrast between yourself and the background is so extreme that a few of these locations (for example the last one shown in this post) look like they could have been bluescreened/photoshopped on.

In other news, I now know the easiest way to lure attractive young ladies out to abandoned derelict wastegrounds.. ;p

The backgrounds have had HDR treatment to them to make them look hyper real. The photographer does amazing HDR and I wanted the pictures to look somewhat surreal :)

And Ed, I really don't know what's been stopping you. You are a perfect candidate for a GWC (what is "fondly" known to those in the industry as "guy with camera" you're certainly creepy enough ;)

I love the velvet dress. It's strange how one outgrows items of clothing and one's tastes change. I outgrew velvet a long time ago but that has to be the most visually appealing dress I've seen in a long time. And the beauty is in it's simplicity. Really lovely!

I know what you mean! I don't wear much of it myself any more - well at least not in that quantity anyway, but it's nice to revisit old styles - goth never goes out of fashion ;) And sometimes simple is actually best, makes a different type of impact. I thought the background was going to be so busy and intense I needed to be a simple shape in the midst of it.

These are great, I did a shoot in a similar sort of abandonned warehouse on the outskirts of Belfast a couple of years ago - grimey and creepy but makes for good photos! (they had nothing on these obviously)
I especially like the third one with the sky behind you:)
I love your corset and belt too!

I've always wanted to do Urbex and while a factory wasn't my first choice it is an amazing location. Now to look for abandoned stately homes or some such :)
